Project Description

Agia Paraskevi is located in the southern part of Amorgos in Kalofana och is best known for the celebration of the church’s name day. The festival is the biggest in the Cyclades and attracts visitors from all over the world. The preparations begin 10 days before the celebration and on the 25th in the evening the famous “patatato” is prepared for the next day. The 26th is the party on for full with food, local music, and dance.
Agia Paraskevi in numbers: 4000 people, 100 volunteers & 150 goats.
