Kalofana is an agricultural village located 17 km south of Chora. The population is small and their livelihood is fishing, farming, and cattle-breeding. The whitewashed houses are spread in the village and decorated according to the Amorgian traditional style. The nearest beach is the lovely beach of Paradisia.
The celebration of the church Agia Paraskevi, every year 25-26 July, is the biggest festival in the Cyclades and attract visitors from all over the world. The preparations begin 10 days before the celebration and you be served traditional food accompanied by local music and dance.
